Transfer
IS™
can be used to administer the following types of corporate stock
and bond issues:
- Privately
issued Simple and Compound Interest Bonds.
- Municipal
Coupon and Simple Interest Bonds.
- Common
and/or Preferred Stock.
The
software has been constructed in such a manner that it is possible
to install Transfer IS in locations that perform all functions of
registration including issue, certificate printing, transfer, interest
or dividend check preparation and maturity processing. It is also
possible to use the software for limited trustee services; for example,
your company might issue and transfer bonds but checks or certificates
could be printed by an out-source vendor.
Specific
functionality and features include the following:
- Supports
multiple Issuers and Issues by Issuer.
- Supports
unlimited CUSIP Numbers for any Issue.
- Allows
for both whole and fractional share accounting.
- Federal
withholding tax supported for taxable Issues.
- Allows
both SEC trade plus 3 as well as unregulated operation.
- SEC
turnaround reports are available for trade plus 3.
- All
transactions are immediately posted, there is no batch processing.
- Location
codes are supported for depository reconciliation.
- Extensive
memo capability for descripting detailed transactions when necessary.
- Call
by lottery and call by specific certificate number are supported.
- Inquiry
capability by holder name, holder tax ID, CUSIP Number and certificate
number.
- Bond
amortization and cash requirement reports are available.
- Software
supports international addresses and telephone numbers.
- 1099-D,
1099-I and 1099-OID reporting fully supported.
- Bank
reconciliation available for dividends and interest paid by check.
- Multiple
bank accounts supported for third party administrators handling
multiple issuers.
- An
automatic deposit feature is available for our customers who use
Trust IS. Dividends and interest will be deposited automatically
to trust accounts that hold stocks or bonds that are administered
by Transfer IS.
