Overview

Disable IS™ consists of a series of programs designed for paying short term disability income claims. The product can be used by private employers who self-administer their own claims payment, third party administrators and insurance companies. Disable IS uses some features of both Plan IS and Trust IS, but it can be installed separately without purchasing the other products.

System Features

• Supports multiple employers and multiple plans for the same employer.

• Supports multiple claims from the same employee using a convenient "open/close" concept.

• Provides for flexible payment scheduling. Plans can be scheduled for payment any day of the week in order to spread check printing time over longer periods when there are large volumes of checks.

• Supports "catch up" check processing utilizing an accrued liability approach to claim payment.

• Includes automatic bank reconciliation and complete check history.

• Includes Federal and State withholding as well as FICA.
